We found Villa Lalu a great place to get away from it all. The villas are very spacious and are in beautiful surroundings with generous space for everybody staying there. During our stay we found the staff and the service outstanding. Great value for money all round, Also situated with an easy walk to a great supermarket, doctors, pharmacies, restaurants and shops.

Gardens that are meticulously maintained, transporting you to a tropical paradise. The vibrant flora and fauna create a vibrant, picturesque setting that rivals even the most stunning botanical gardens.
Noisy water pipes.

We booked Villa Lalu online without any reference, we were pleasantly surprised on arrival. Our one bedroom Villa was spacious and lovely. Balinese style accommodation. The gardens are beautiful. The staff friendly and helpful. The location although not on the beach is only a 10 minute walk or a $1 taxi fare and the villas are down a lane away from the street noise. A supermarket across the road and lots of lovely shops and restaurants. We loved our stay and will come back again.
If you are after a resort style hotel with a massive pool, fitness centre etc this is not for you. No bath.

We liked the central location just a short walk to the shops and the small restaurant with reasonable priced meals.
We would have liked a ceiling fan in the living area, to circulate the air.

This was a nice place for our family. It was away from the busyness of the main street but very close to amenities.
However, the beach is quite far and should not be advertised as a 10 minute walk. To walk with two children it takes 25-30 minutes.

The villas were clean and comfortable and the staff friendly and helpful.
The open living area and bathroom meant that at night we were inundated with mosquitos.

The private villas are very nicely made. Great place to relax. Very calm and yet so close to one of the main seminyak streets. Soto Ayam at their restaurant is pretty good and reasonably priced.
Wi-fi only available at the restaurants. Should also be available in the villas.
